I hope you were inspired and encouraged by the content of each day’s Daily Devotional in Week 2. The Theme- Answering the Call of God was explored to highlight how you can identify and respond to God’s call for you to draw closer to Him.
The theme for Week 3 is: The Promises of God; the topics will focus on some of the promises God makes to us as reassurance that when we live by His design we are safe, blessed, forgiven and healed.
God’s guarantee to bless you is evident throughout the Scriptures. His Word says:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a bright future”.
Jeremiah 29:11
During this week, let us focus on the many promises we have received and turn our hearts to God again and again so we are closer and closer to Him with each passing day. May your heart be blessed, and your spirit renewed through the Holy Spirit of God.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord... So God said to Noah, I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out (Genesis 6:8,13,14)
The jeering must have been unbearable for Noah as he pounded one nail after another into the perfectly cut cypress wood. He had heard the voice of God’s instruction cut the wood to specification and make an ark. continue reading

By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands; this He set aside, nailing it to the cross. (Colossians 2:14)
What is this word we speak of: “Forgiveness”? Psychologists generally define forgiveness as “a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you”….continue reading

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His stripes we are healed... (Isaiah 54:5)
What an expression of love that is demonstrated by a Heavenly Father towards His children; in His wisdom He knew ahead of time that at times the human flesh ails, and good health is necessary for us to live with joy and fulfill our purpose. Amidst the reality of illnesses and diseases, our God has given us the Promise of Healing. It is through the ransom sacrifice of His Son Jesus that we have access to this blessed gift. continue reading
