The human experience is for the most part fueled by the desire to accumulate physical things: vehicles, land, houses, businesses, investments and all that increases our wealth. These things are called assets; the word asset is defined as: a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality. The Long Journey to Freedom

The study of the history of Israel tells us of their experience of living as slaves in the foreign land of Egypt. Isaac and his descendants migrated there during a time of famine. Joseph, his son who was mistreated and sold by his brothers, and by God’s favour he had been promoted in the Pharaoh’s palace.
