A seed must die before it can become a tree and bear fruit or flowers
To know and understand the reason for, and the purpose of a thing gives a level of enlightenment that allows one to have confidence to talk about it, use it, and enjoy it. Do you ever give thought to the reason you were born? If you do, is it just a passing thought, or does it keep you up at nights? Is there a yearning in your soul to become more, and be more? Is there an unquenchable thirst that you just can’t explain?
Do you remember when you were growing up, how you asked questions about almost everything? The “why” questions were oftentimes quite annoying for our parents; more than they could tolerate. It was one question after another, then another. Children are such curious beings; yet, the older they grow, the more aware they become of their surroundings; then they enter into adulthood, and curiosity diminishes. Oftentimes, culture, style and fashion dictates that path we take and we just follow the status quo. Usually, all this happens at the expanse of learning who we really are, were created to be, and are to become.
The woman who accepts that She is Royal, and within her is planted The Seed of Purpose will not consent to letting life simply slip by; from reading Scripture, she learns that: for everything there is a purpose, and a season. It is written that in the beginning, God created heaven and the earth, then later, He created humans. In knowing that God does everything for a reason, the Queen asks herself the question: What is the purpose of my life? She will strive to discover her purpose, and live in season so that she lives a meaningful life.
The human reality is that we are born, we live, and then we eventually die; what then is the meaning of all this? To find this answer, we can turn to Scripture which reveals the heart and mind of God concerning His will, and purpose for human existence. This is what God reveals through the Scripture:
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him…And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Genesis 1:26-28
The reason He created humans is quite clear; in summary, men and women are created to reflect God’s image- His nature and character, we are to increase, enjoy success and be in charge of all that is in the earth. In essence, from the beginning of time, The Seed of Purpose was planted in the hearts of humans when God spoke those words that brought him to life. We can ask ourselves, what has happened to the seed that was planted within us? Has it sprung into a tree, or is it that is has just remained there inactive?
By nature, seeds have interesting character; each type endures cycles that are unique to their size, nature and texture. A seed is basically a copy of the plant it came from; in being created in the image of God, we are a copy of our Creator; His purpose is to love, rule and reign, and so is ours. Each person’s purpose is unique; throughout our lifetimes, we are to discover The Seed of Purpose, and nurture it so that it bears fruit. Jesus makes reference to what ought to happen to this seed:
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me.
St. John 12:24-26
The past year has caused us to give serious thought to the “WHY” of our existence. It is undeniable that we are living in a time when we desire to have a more meaningful existence. The Seed of Purpose that the God of Heaven has planted in your heart is about to germinate. You are scheduled to burst through, and come forth to bear the Good Fruits of your seed. The time is now, and you have never been more ready to discover, pursue and fulfill your purpose. Know with all your heart that:
…the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a bright future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11

In order to be fruitful and multiply; it is necessary to die to yourself so that you can come alive by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. In this season, you are invited to tend The Seed of Purpose so you can faithfully follow Christ, and be honoured by our Heavenly Father.
Fulfilling purpose involves developing passion to be all that you were created to be; it means Rising Up to be a Model Woman who is known to always be Sitting Around , basking in the presence of her King. You know too well that Living in Season is crucial to being able to hear When God Speaks so that all that you do is For the King’s Pleasure.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
Isaiah 60:1
OH QUEEN…MAY IT BE THAT YOU WILL TEND YOUR SEED OF PURPOSE

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Discovering the reason for a thing can be quite a quest; to know who I am, I know that I must seek, so I can find. The Seed of Purpose was planted in me the moment I was conceived and I desire to know and understand fully the reason for my existence.
Lord, in this season of my life, I ask for revelation of who I was created to be. I am committed to Sitting Around in Your presence, and I am Rising Up to face all that you will bring me through so that I can be molded into the who I truly am.
Please help me to water The Seed of Purpose with Your Word; as I invest time to grow in wisdom, may my knowledge and understanding increase so that I will have nothing missing, or nothing broken in my life.
Your Word is life; it gives wholeness, and peace; I claim it all so that my life will bring You glory, honour and praise. I will strive to die to myself daily so that The Seed of Purpose You have planted in my heart can come to life by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’s Name I pray – Amen
