The Queen and Her King communes at a special place…
The Secret Place of the Most High – the Palace Awaits your arrival.
The Beloved King David writes eloquently about dwelling in the Presence of the Creator of the Universe. He records the Unspeakable Joys he experienced when He basked in the presence of his God. The Warrior King described the presence of God as a Secret Place; he asked the question:
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully” ;
Psalm 24:3-4
The Creator of the Universe is holy and righteous; He is the King of all the Earth. Those who enjoy the presence of the King must be as He is; holy. Your call to holiness is so that the Holy spirit of God can Transform you into the image of your King.
The habitation of a King is a “palace”; it is where He dwells and from where He rules and reigns. In the case of our King, that place is not a physical place, it cannot be seen with the human eye; yet, it undoubtedly exists. This is the place where God’s presence is available to you, and you are invited to dwell there. The Creator Himself revealed in Scripture the truth about where He dwells:
The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore.
Psalm 115:16
We whose hearts are tender towards the Maker of Heaven and Earth have a spiritual dwelling place; it is in the presence of our King; the Secret Place of the Most High God. That is where the heart and mind and spirit of a QUEEN should reside at all times. The Apostle Paul knew the great value of a mind that is focused on God; to the Colossians, he encouraged them as he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to:
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:2-4
Dearest Queen; the perfect place for your mind is on your King; the Palace (presence) of your King is specially prepared for you; it is your place of abode; the Secret Place of the Most High is your Palace. It is suited only for Royalties; indeed when God thinks of you, he says: She’s Royal. The True Love of God is yours to have and to hold at every moment. The Palace awaits; inhabit it; furnish it with praise and adoration for your King; make fervent and effectual prayers that lead to righteousness; live with understanding and in truth. Know therefore, that the Lord is God, it is He Who has made you, and not you yourself; you are His Daughter, a sheep in His pasture. May the King continually inhabit your praises as you dwell perpetually in His presence; the Palace that awaits forevermore. Remember the immutable promise of God that:
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Isaiah 26:3
The Queen and Her King and undefeated; there is no force that can stand against such a united front. In making the presence of God your Palace; your victory is sure, your peace is guaranteed as you give yourself – mind, body and spirit totally and completely to your God and King.
INHABIT YOUR PALACE
CONSIDER
- Do I know that God has prepared a palace for me as His Queen?
- Am I committed to dwelling perpetually in God’s presence?
- Do I fully understands the benefit of being in God’s presence at all times?
MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Dear Heavenly Father,
As Your Daughter, I am a QUEEN; You have prepared for me, a special place – a Palace which represents Your Presence. Here where I can dwell perpetually and enjoy.
I am delighted to know that I am soloved by You Who is so great and mighty. No force can stand before You so I know that I am safe in Your arms.
Help me to keep my mind on You at all times so that I will have the promised peace. I want to take my place in the Palace You have prepared for me; please help me to walk in faith, obedience and righteousness for Your name’s sake.
In Jesus’s Name I pray – Amen
