A Queen is delighted to satisfy the yearning of her King
Satisfaction Guaranteed!!!! Have you ever entered a place of business and seen those words written in bold letters on a wall? Would you agree that this is a place we would want to do business in; to know that at the end of it all we will be definitely satisfied with the goods or service we purchase? I’m not so sure you’ll see those words in many places of business these days; seemingly, the aim of service is hardly to satisfy anymore. It’s more likely: come if you may, stay away if you want to. Those words, though unwritten, are what supporting customers are forced to read from the oftentimes bad attitudes we encounter when we do business.
Praises be to our God and King Who is in the business of satisfying His children with good things; His seal being so evident that Scripture states that:
…He jealously longs for the spirit He has caused to dwell in us?St. James 4:5
What is the “Spirit”, that He (God) jealously longs to dwell in us? to answer, it is the Holy Spirit; Who is also the Counsellor, Teacher, Guide, and Revealer of Truth. In designing humans, our God, and King has made it so that we are endowed with all that He is. With Him, being Spirit, we too possess a spirit, that is the lifeline that connects us to our Creator. This connection sustains the human soul and gives us eternal life, and purpose.
The word, Jealous is quite strong; it expresses an intense emotion that is seemingly untamable. Defined, the word jealous means:
fiercely protective or vigilant of one’s rights or possessions.Google Dictionary
What then does the Bible mean when it speaks of God “jealously longing for the Spirit He has caused to dwell in us”? The author of this Scripture is St. James. Prior to penning that verse in Chapter 4, James warned the audience to whom he spoke against being a friend of the world (desiring things of the flesh). He strove to communicate the passion with which God loves His children, and desires to seal them with His own Holy Spirit, so that they may be guided on the path of righteousness; at that point they are Living in Truth.
In my role of being a parent, I can’t help but think of the yearning I have in my own heart; longing for the day when my children and I can see eye to eye. When my counsel, recommendations and suggestions are appreciated, and taken as being good for them, and they trust that I know what is best for them. I am now closer to that point with my oldest child, and it does feel good to have less confrontation, and more agreement; these days there are more Satisfied Spirits.
I imagine that our God’s yearning is much like the yearning of a parent to see their children living in compliance, and doing well. From the Scripture, we can confer that the Spirit of God is satisfied when we freely accept, and receive the gift of His Holy spirit. At this time, our Spirits can be impressed upon to do the good we were created to do; yes, at this point we only Dare to Do Right.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.Romans 8:14
Satisfaction is guaranteed when the Holy Spirit of God is given free access to our hearts, and is able to unify with the Spirits of humans. Herein lies the perfect condition for miracles to abound. As he Holy Spirit gains access to our spirits, there is harmony, and the result is having Satisfied Spirits; both God, and men are satisfied. By this mutually beneficial relationship, we learn and appreciate that the King’s jealous longing to give us His spirit is justified, because all He desires to do is to bless us with His goodness.
A Queen appreciates the insatiable appetite that Her King has to satisfy her spirit with joy, peace and love. Her response to His True Love for her, gives the King pleasure. He being Spirit is satisfied; and the Queen possessing a spirit is also satisfied. Oh what splendor is at hand when God’s Spirits is in harmony with the spirits of His children; the blessings that abound are unimaginable as the Universe perfectly aligns, and peace on earth becomes a reality. In all this, the Revelation of John is poised for manifestation as it is recorded in Scripture:
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” …Revelation 21:3-5
The Queen who makes no apology to be Sold Out to her King will find that as she Dare to Do Right, she receives the gift of the Holy Spirit so that she is Moving in Power. She knows that indulging in God’s Word, she is equipped to master the art of Living in Truth. Being the first fruits of God’s creation, this beloved Queen is able to Defeat Fear, and live in expression of her True Worth.
I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.Ephesians 3:16-17
Queen, may you be strengthened o keep pressing forward and Satisfy the Spirit of your King; undoubtedly, your spirit will be doubly satisfied. YES!! The goal is achieving Satisfying Spirits.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Satisfaction!!! That is You promise to Your children as we heed our hearts to You. Your promise is to give to us, the gift of Your Holy Spirit so that we can live by Your power.
I am truly honoured to be Your Daughter, and to have a Satisfied Spirit and I strive to Satisfy Your Holy Spirit.
Be magnified Oh God; surely You deserve to be exalted above all else. Please guide as I purpose in my heart to pursue the path You will lead me on; may all that I do bring You guaranteed satisfaction.
