Devotional – Life in the Palace

A Queen sits around so she can rise up and reign

Action is what makes things happen; it is all in the doing. Success is achieved in getting up, and moving forward – that is how we make progress. The journey of faith is exactly that; it is a journey that keeps moving forward at every moment. The Queen in you is not content with laying low; she knows that there is work to be done; she knows that she is born for a purpose, and is destined to do great things.

After being told yesterday that Sitting Around is what Queens are to do; in today’s Devotional you are hearing that Rising Up is what is expected of you. What kind of confusing message is this? I know that’s what you may be thinking, so let me clear that up quickly. Remember now that our Sitting Around involves sharing quality time in God’s presence. We should also remember what King David said about what happens when we enter into the awesome presence of God.

You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 16:11

I hope it’s clearer now; the paths of life are discovered when we are sitting in God’s presence- this path will take us to all the places we will need to be to do the work we were born to do. So Rising Up is the command for us Queens today because we have received the love, inspiration, direction and instruction from the King as we have shared those special moments with Him. Our Sitting Around has paid off big time, and we are ready to char and do exploits; we are ready to Reign Supreme because we have been anointed and appointed.

The God of Heaven is on your side; He has the Blueprint for your life, and it is in His best interest that you succeed. All that He does concerning you is to prepare you so you can do all that you need to do through Christ, Who strengthens you. We need God’s help to accomplish every task, and to fulfill our destinies. How do I know this? Because, His Word says it:

God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

“What is this good work I am to do”? This is a question you may be asking. Oh, you say, but what about all the darkness and gloom that surround us? The past year has been filled with uncertainty; we have good reason to be doubtful, fearful, and even to believe that this is just the reality we will have to live with. Oh!!! but remember that you serve, and belong to a God Who is all powerful- He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. He sits enthroned, and He is large and in charge.

It’s a new season, it’s a new day, a fresh anointing is coming your way; it is the season of power, and prosperity. Surely!!! A new season is on the horizon, and you must Rise Up to meet all that it will entail. You are being challenged!!!!

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Isaiah 60:1-3

The world awaits to be impacted by the light that is within you. All the gloom and doom your eyes may behold is just a shadow; one that disappears at the presence of God, and with your Rising Up. The truth is that our God does not see gloom, He sees the light that is in you that is bright enough to extinguish the darkness. This is why embracing who God says you are is necessary, and will make the difference. Here is what the Scriptures say:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11

The future is bright, and here is why you can have confidence that it will be; it’s because those Beautiful Eyes you possess will see what God sees. You will see the great courage He has planted within your heart so you are able to Defeat Fear; with those eyes you will also see the great difference you can make in the world by the power of God that dwells within the core of your being. There are many wonders to be performed in discovering, pursuing and fulfilling your purpose.

The Blueprint of your life has already been drafted; God Himself will build you up, and establish the works of your hand, but all this is only possible in your Rising Up to take your place and to do the work you are created to do. So you say that you desire to do good; so do it, because you have it in you. Here is your assurance:

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.

Psalm 37:3-5

In Rising Up, you will receive all that you need to do what you must do to fulfill God’s will for your life. Make it your desire to do the good works and God will give you the desires of your heart. Be encouraged in knowing that your Sitting Around will cause you to be Living in Season, and in every season you will bear the Good Fruits, and yield a bountiful harvest. Rise Up Queen!!!

RISE UP AND BE COUNTED AMONG THOSE WHO WILL REIGN WITH CHRIST

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Oh yes, that Sitting Around is truly a blessing!! My spirit is renewed and I am Rising Up to meet all that awaits me. My heart wants to believe this with everything that is within me, but I need more faith. Oh how I need to hear You speak tenderly to my heart so I know that I can, and I will.

Your voice makes the difference, and I want to hear it loud and clear so that I can have confidence to pursue this path of faith and know that I have already on the race because You run with me.

You never expect anything that is not possible; so as You are challenging me to rise Up, then I will muster all the energy I can to do it, even when it’s hard. When I cry unto You for aid, please hear me and be my help.

I will Rise Up!!! I can, and I will…

In Jesus’s Name I pray – Amen
