Devotional – Life in the Palace

^{A Queen’s Power is always turned on; her Power is her King’s Power…}

One foot in front of the other gets you moving forward; movement is synonymous with progress, and in taking steps, you get closer to success. Achieving success is the goal of a Queen; in embracing her Royal status, she is driven by purpose, and walks in faith. She knows the Source of her strength, and is very much aware that when she moves she must always be Moving in Power. Life in the Palace is all about power; it is what makes everything possible – The Power of God.

The human experience is about having good success; at the end of our lives, we want to know that we lived well. It is for this reason that we are willing to work hard, to dream, and to do what it takes to fulfill our dreams. The desire we have in the core of our beings to live a good life is in line with what God wants for us too. The Scripture is clear about this:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a bright future. 

Jeremiah 29:11

In striving to live For The King’s Pleasure, we cultivate the audacity to Live Out Loud; when we do, we learn to align our dreams and desires with God’s plans for us. As we synchronize with the will of God, we are endowed with His Power so that as we move we have victory in all that we do. Throughout Scripture, we are able to observe how God responds to many of His faithful servants Who He deem to be His children and Sheep.

As they discovered and pursued their purpose, we witness God’s faithfulness to provide all that they need to accomplish the goals of their work. Their success is important to Him because His plans for them are manifested in their faith, obedience and diligence. All that God does on behalf of the faithful, to bless them with His presence and power, is always for their benefit, and His glory. In the midst of it all such ones are always Moving in Power; that is in the Power of God.

The Bible makes numerous references to the power available to those who put complete faith in God. We learn the truth about Whose we are, who we are, and how we are to live. The Apostle Paul had great passion about sharing this message with the Gentile nations to whom He preached the Gospel of Jesus. On a particular ministry trip to Athens, Paul was moved to help the people there to understand the Source of their existence. He proclaimed:

 For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring..   

Acts 17:28

It is important to note that the success that we seek, we already have because we are the offspring of God. It is in recognizing what we have, and embracing it, that we come into all that is already ours, and become all that we are. As we embrace all that God is; His power and might, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit so that in everything that we do, we are Moving in Power. The Scriptures tell us clearly:

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

2 Corinthians 4:7

Within the core of our beings, we have all that God is; in our daily living, we have access to God’s power; in our moving we do too. The excellency of God becomes evident in our lives when we connect to God’s power. Staying connected at all times, is the way a Queen demonstrates how she is Celebrating Dependence on her King.

As a Queen, you are destined for greatness; your success is dependent on the Power in which you Move. Only the Power of your God and King will get you to the destiny that you were created to fulfill. The Heart of The Matter is that as your live For The King’s Pleasure, when you Ask, Seek and Knock, you will receive all that the King has in store for you because the fact that you Dare to Do Right, it is evidence that you are Sold Out; as such you are always Moving in Power.
