The QUEEN LIFE involves taking hold of all that God has in store for you. Each of us are unique, extra ordinary and created for a specific purpose; there is a definite destination to which we need to get, and a time we need to get there. The question is where is that place, how do we get there, and when will we arrive?
The answers to all those questions are found within you and I. It is up to us to decide if our lives will write the story that God has in His mind for us, or if we will chart our own courses and tell our own tales. Growing up as a child, my understanding of serving God was being baptized, reading the Bible and praying. As I remember it, all those efforts didn’t get me very far. To be honest, the rituals, they did help in some way to keep me sensitive to the fact that there was a God, but that Unspeakable Joy was missing.
When I responded to God’s unique call on my life I learned that there was a specific path that I am expected to take in my life. What was even more interesting, is learning that the path did not lead on the one others were taking. Each person’s purpose takes different paths, but all is for the glory of God.
In knowing and understanding the True and Living God, it is important to observe the relationship He shared with Israel; in particular, how instructed and inspired the different leaders of His Chosen People. It is necessary to pay close attention to the fact that He always offered guidance to His servant; never leaving them to guess or figure out everything on their own. In fulfilling His promise the Abraham, when the time was nigh for Israel to be freed from bondage in Egypt, the Most High God chose Moses to accomplish the task. At every point He gave careful instructions, and direction to Moses so that the goal of Israel’s freedom was eventually achieved. (Exodus 12-14)
The guidance God gave to Moses and the Children of Israel was direct and deliberate; from speaking with Pharaoh, to stretching out his rod to part the Red Sea, to entering the Wilderness of Sin, settling into tribes, and learning how to worship God in spirit and in truth – the guidance was clear and continuous. As Moses followed God’s direction, Israel enjoyed provision, protection and education in righteousness. Yet, at one point, they became weary of waiting on God and decided to do things their own way. How did that go? Just like you know, they ended up having an experience that was opposite to what they had when they obeyed God. Israel’s disobedience affected them adversely for many generations afterwards.
It seems that humans have a hard time trusting God and following His directives; we are usually in a rush to have the things we want, when we want them, and to get to the places we want to be on our time. Oftentimes, when we go out on our own, we endure so much pain, and experience chaos and confusion, we have to wonder if this is how life was meant to be.
God desires to reveal His will to you, and lead you to the green pastures He has prepared for you. Ask for direction and follow His instructions. Life works out better that way.

As we examine Israel’s adventures in Scripture, we can note that with much time passing since Israel’s time in the wilderness, their eventual settling in Canaan; the prophesies of many prophets proclaimed and fulfilled, Jesus promised, conceived, born, lived and died, we have so much information so we can be led on a better path. One thing that is important to know is that when God created man, He gave us the gift of free-will; we all have choice to do what we desire to do at all times. With this gift, comes the responsibility to accept the consequences of our decisions. learning to make wise choices will serve us very well. Life is a balance; for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
What do we say today about Desiring Guidance? The God Who loves us unconditionally desires to direct our steps so that we will be able to enjoy the Promises of Blessings. We have received a blessed Call to Holiness; we are encouraged to make the choice to separate ourselves from all that corrupts and contaminates, and live in the way that pleases God. When we do, we have access to God’s good plans for our lives. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Having God’s guidance begins with having a desire to be guided. Giving careful thought to the free will we have, and making a conscious decision to ask God to guide us on our life journey will lead us to discover, pursue and fulfill our God-given purpose. In the book of Proverbs, we are encouraged to:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
The straight path is found when we:
- Desire guidance from God,
- Decide to trust Him with all our hearts
- Always ask God for direction
- Follow where God leads at all times
This is the journey that Daddy’s Little Girls take when Desiring Guidance is one of the priorities of her spiritual quest. Then the QUEEN LIFE becomes a reality as The Queen and Her King take the journey of life together and she is Transformed. Receiving the gift of Beautiful Eyes, she can see where she is being led by her KING. Yes, Woman of Virtue, you will laugh without fear of the future (Proverbs 31:25), because you trust firmly in God, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). You will receive The Full Reward as you master the art of Living on Schedule.
On the journey of life, you must know, beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are not alone. You have access to unlimited guidance – 100% of the time. All you will need to do is ask, and you will receive. It delights the Lord, your God to be a lamp unto your feet. (Psalm 119:105).
This blessed path of faith is all connected to one thing, your heart; that which when it trusts in God, and is stayed on Him leads to perfect peace, unspeakable joy, prosperity, favour and all that is good. It is the promise of God, and will never prove to be false.
